Order of Trial Proceedings
Magistrates MUST maintain order in their courtroom. Call out anyone causing a disturbance. Also remember that long trials can cause difficulties for concentration and intenseness. Keeping a trial to 3 hours or less is the goal. Anything over that, recess and reconvene the next day. Most trials can be finished in this time. Also, for Prosecution and defense advocates, having questions prepared ahead of time will expedite this process.
