The HURT is a marsupial, kangaroo-like animal with a wooly coat.
It is domesticated and raised for its wool in large numbers near several northern cities, inparticular in the Mountains of Thentis, its wool being the main export of that region along with blackwine.
They are raised on large, fenced ranches, herded by domesticated sleen and sheared by chained slaves.
The finest wool come from the belly of this creature, and it is regrown four times a year to be sheared.
